The Avalanche Lake Trail is a highly trafficked, out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 748 feet. It takes about 6 hours to hike the 5.7 mile-long trail which is rated moderate in terms of difficulty. The Avalanche trail, which is accessible all year round, is wheelchair friendly and kid-friendly but dogs are not allowed on this path. The Avalanche Lake Trail is used for hiking, skiing, and walking. Although there are no restrooms on the trail, they can be found on the nearby campgrounds. Hikers ought to carry their own drinking water. The Avalanche Lake Trail is home to a beautiful creek, a lake, and mesmerizing waterfalls. Mountain goats and deer are common on this trail.
