The Arch Rock trail is a 12-mile, out-and-back trail located within the Mount Rainier Area, Washington. A moderately trafficked trail, the Arch Rock Trail is mostly used for hiking, horseback riding, walking, nature walks and bird watching. Being a seasonal trail, the Arch Rock Trail is best used from July to October. Huckleberries, lupines, and fern dominate a bigger section of the trail, and animals found along the Arch Rock trail include deer, elk, and black bears. From the highest sections of the trail, hikers will get to enjoy scenic views of Mount Rainier, Raven Roost microwave tower and the meandering Green Water River. Dogs on leash are allowed in the Arch Rock Trail. A Northwest forest pass is needed to access the Arch Rock Trail.
