This route is the best in spotting gorgeous views of old-growth forest, Sol Doc falls, Hot Springs, and the mossy soft ground. These incredible features make Ancient Groves Trail preferred for walking, hiking, and nature views. The best time to visit the trail is from March to October. Sadly, dogs are not allowed on this trail. The Ancient Groves Trail is regarded as an easy hike with an elevation gain of 50 feet. Remember to carry water bottles and filters to fetch water from the falls. Ancient Groves is kid-friendly especially playing with water at the cliff and its wheelchair accessible.
