The Anacortes Community Forest Lands-Mount Erie trail is a 5-mile, loop trail located near Mt. Erie. A moderately trafficked trail, itl is best used for hiking and nature walks. Since it is not a seasonal trail, the Anacortes Community Forest Lands-Mount Erie trail can be accessed throughout the year. Fir and cedars dominate a bigger section of the trail. While hiking on the Anacortes Community Forest Lands-Mount Erie trail, hikers will be rewarded with spectacular views of Whistle Lake and Rosario Beach. While dogs are allowed on the trail, they should always be on a leash. Drinking water may be obtained from natural sources, however, hikers should remember to treat the water first before consumption.
