Trout Lake Trail is a 1.5-mile-long out-and-back route and is frequently trafficked. The trail is used by hikers together with kids, as it rated as an easy to moderate hike. The Trout Lake Trail is open all year round, but the best season to visit is during summer and fall. The hike takes around 1-2 hours and has an elevation of 200 feet. Trout Lake trail is family-friendly; kids are allowed. However, pets are not allowed. The path offers a beautiful view of the different wildlife, including bears, bison, deer, and Elk. The lake also offers views of trouts and osprey. It is important to carry bear spray and to have company along the trail. Another amazing view on the Trout lake trail is off the Absaroka range. Carrying drinking water is recommended.
