Sour Creek Trail is a 5.1-mile, moderately trafficked, out-and-back trail on Sour Creek in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This trail is good for the whole family, including kids, as it has an intermediate difficulty level with an elevation gain of 367 feet. The Sour Creek Trail is used for bird watching, hiking, nature trips, running and walking, any time of the day, preferably from March until October. The trail offers beautiful views of wildflowers, forest, wild flowers and wildlife. The Sour Creek Trail, however, does not provide fresh drinking water. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
