Snyder Lake Trail is a moderately trafficked, 8.8 miles-long, out-and-back trail that is best used between May and September. The trail can be used for hiking, camping, bird watching, walking, nature trips, and backpacking. Hikers get an amazing view of the lake, forest, wildlife, and wildflowers. Snyder Lake trail is rated moderate in terms of difficulty due to its elevation gain of 2,050 feet. Dogs are not allowed on the trail, and it may not be conducive for kids due to its steep nature. There is ample parking, and restrooms are also available. Hikers should plan to carry their own drinking water.
