The Skyline Divide Trail is a 9-mile, out-and-back trail located near Deming, Washington. A highly trafficked trail, the Skyline Divide Trail is primarily used for bird watching, camping, hiking, and backpacking. While dogs are allowed on the Skyline Divide Trail, hikers are expected to always keep them on a leash. While it's considered a challenging hike, the breathtaking mountain views and unending wildflower fields make the hike worth the sweat. Hikers will have to bring water with you since the Skyline Divide Trail lacks potable water. Huckleberries and foamflowers are also common during the summer season. To access the parking area and the trailhead, you'll need a Recreation pass.
