Sentinel Meadow Trail is a 2.2-mile, lightly trafficked, out-and-back trail located near Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This easy rated trail can be accessed by almost anyone, kids included, with an elevation gain of only 40 feet. The Sentinel Meadow Trail is be used for camping, hiking, fishing, biking, walking, and nature trips any time of the day and is best used from May until October. The Sentinel Meadow Trail offers fantastic views of geyser cones and a selection of hot pools of varying sizes, wildflowers, wildlife, and waterfall. Dogs are, however not allowed on the trail. There is moderate parking space at the Sentinel Meadow trailhead, but be sure to bring fresh drinking water.
