Scalplock Trail is a lightly trafficked, 9.2-mile, out-and-back trail that is best used between March and October. It is rated moderate in terms of difficulty with an elevation gain of 325 feet. Hikers using the trail, enjoy bird watching, the beautiful views of the forest, wildlife, and the wildflowers. The trail may not be favorable for use by kids due to its high elevation, and no dogs are allowed. There are available parking and restrooms. Hikers ought to carry their drinking water.
