Razorback Trail is a 2.3-mile moderately trafficked out-and-back trail located near Southwest Harbor, Maine. One of the iconic trails in Acadia National Park, it is accessible for hiking, nature trips, bird watching, and running, any time of the day year-round. With an elevation gain of 879 feet, the Razorback Trail is quite rocky, rated intermediate in terms of difficulty levels, and kids are not allowed on the trail. Dogs are only allowed on the trail if they are on leash. Time required for a hike along the trail is 1.5-3 hours. The Razorback Trail is home to incredible unhindered views hiking up the interesting rock formations including stunning wildflowers and wildlife. Parking space for the trail users is available at the Gilley Field Trailhead.
