The Quartz Creek Trail has a lake and a beautiful creek as the most notable aspects. Geraniums, arnica, and gaillardia flowers are scattered on the best part of the trail, while the most commonly spotted wildlife includes deer, elks, and bears. Visitors are advised to carry a bear spray. The most common birds on the Quartz Creek Trail are hawks and grouse. Hikers must carry their own drinking water. The Quartz Creek Trail is open throughout the year.
