The Pelican Creek Nature Trail is a short but diverse 0.6-mile, moderately trafficked, loop trail located near Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. This trail is easy with an elevation gain of only 16 feet and is good for bird watching, fishing, hiking, and nature walks. The Pelican Creek Nature Trail is flat and well maintained, hence a family and kid friendly trail. The trail is best used any time of the day from June until September. Enjoy stunning views of wild flowers, river/ creek and the spectacular Yellowstone Lake. The Pelican Creek Trail trailhead has a good- sized parking area, but be sure to carry drinking water. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
