The Oldman Lake Trail is a lightly trafficked loop trail used for backpacking, camping, and hiking. It takes about 10 hours to hike the 13.3 mile-long trail with a mixed surface and an elevation gain of 1,850 feet. The Oldman Lake Trail is rated strenuous in terms of difficulty making it unfriendly for kids. Dogs are not permitted on the Oldman Lake Trail. There are no water points or restrooms on the Oldman Lake Trail but the two can be found in the nearby campgrounds. However, hikers ought to carry drinking water.
