The Mount Dickerman trail is a 9.5-mile, out-and-back trail located within the larger Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Park. Being a multi-use trail, the Mount Dickerman trail is mostly used for hiking, snowshoeing, and nature trips. Because of its strenuous terrain, the Mount Dickerman trail is ideal for the most experienced hikers. At the highest sections of the Mount Dickerman Trail, hikers get to enjoy breathtaking vistas including the snowy white peaks of the Big Four Mountain, Monte Cristo Peak, Mount Forgotten and the Pilchuck mountains. A nature lover's paradise, the Mount Dickerman Trail is home to a variety of wild plants including lupines, plump blueberries, mountain ash and various subalpine plants that are dominant during early fall and late summer. It is important to point out that kids are not allowed on this trail. While hikers may obtain drinking water from the nearby streams, it is important to treat the water first before consumption.
