Helen Lake Trail is a 4.3-mile, lightly trafficked, point-to-point trail in Glacier National Park, Montana. It is a fantastic trail along Elizabeth Lake, then moves up through alpine forests and meadows to a picturesque alpine Helen Lake. The Helen Trail is primarily used by hikers taking approximately 2 hours hiking time. With an elevation gain of 314 feet and rated easy, this trail can be used by the entire family. The Helen Lake Trail can be used any time of the day all year round but, there is no fresh drinking water on the trail; therefore, be sure to carry enough. Dogs are not allowed on the trail.
