Gorge Path Trail is a 3.4-mile, heavily trafficked, out-and-back trail located near Bar Harbor, Maine. Rated moderate, this trail has an elevation gain of 1,266 feet. The Gorge Path Trail, however, is not recommended for kids. It is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching, and is best used from March until November. The trail is accessible for use any time of the day year round. The Gorge Path Trail climbs through a gorge to the top of Cadillac Mountain, and features a waterfall, forest, and river. Parking space is available at the trailhead, but be sure to bring fresh drinking water.
