The 15.9-mile has an elevation gain of 8,408 feet and is rated strenuous in terms of difficulty making it unfriendly to kids. Dogs are not permitted on this trail. There are no restrooms or drinking water points on the Fielding Trail. Thimbleberries and arnica are the most common flowers on this trail, while hikers may also spot birds such as vesper sparrows, chickadees, and wrens, and larger animals like deer elks and bears. It is advisable to carry a bear spray whenever using this trail. Fielding Trail is accessible all year round.
