Located near Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, Chittenden Road to Mount Washburn Trail is a 5.6-mile, out-and-back trail with an elevation of 1,482 feet. This trail is rated moderate and is heavily trafficked but not overcrowded. The Chittenden Road to Mount Washburn Trail is kid-friendly and accessible to almost everyone to savor the beautiful wild flowers and wildlife. Dogs, however, are not permitted. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, nature trips, walking, bird watching and running on the trail all day long preferably from May until September. Bathrooms and parking lot are available at the trailhead. There are no water options on the Chittenden Road to Mount Washburn Trail, so bring enough water. Bug spray is also recommended.
