Dogs are not permitted on the trail. The Camas Creek is home to river otters, moose, deer, and bears. For this reason, hikers are advised to carry a bear spray while using this trail. There are no restrooms on Camas Creek but they can be found on the nearby campgrounds. Users of Camas Creek ought to carry their own drinking water.
