Found deep within the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park near Issaquah, WA, the Big Tree Ridge trail is a 4.2-mile, out-and-back trail. A moderately trafficked trail, the Big Tree Ridge Trail is mostly used for running, hiking and nature walk. Accessible throughout the year, the Big Tree Ridge Trail is the perfect destination for children and inexperienced hikers. Red currant, ocean spray, red elderberry and June plum dominate a bigger section of this trail. While dogs are allowed in the trail, they must always be kept on leash. Hikers should remember to carry plenty of drinking water.
