The Autumn Creek Trail is a lightly trafficked, point-to-point trail with an elevation gain of 346 feet over its 17.9 miles. It is rated intermediate in terms of difficulty. The Autumn Creek Trail is open throughout the year but it is at its best during winter. The Autumn Creek Trail is a home of three beautiful bear lakes and a mountain. Lovely wildflowers like the Indian paintbrush and arnica are scattered on the path. With wildlife like mountain chickadee, ducky goose, deer, squirrels, elk, and bears, users are likely to see wildlife and are recommended to carry bear spray. There are no restrooms on the Autumn Creek Trail and hikers should carry drinking water. Dogs are not permitted on the Autumn Creek Trail.
